The block may be able to take more IF it has been cast with 427 cyl wall cores. You'd have to check them. If it's got 406 cyl wall cores it might be at the end of the line and sleeves would be the only other option. Sleeves are about $100 a hole installed. I've mentioned the drill bit test a few times here so try a search for that. Otherwise it's not a bad price other than the block being .060. I sold a bare C3AE-D .030 406 block, stock but complete C2SE-C 406 heads ( both block and heads date code matching) and the original tripower setup for more. The original 406 slugs were forged and made by TRW for Ford. These are hard to find in any size. Also what is the block and head casting numbers? You want to verify they are 406 parts for that kind of cash.
