I agree with Richard.
I recently sold a '73 F100 with a 360 block 30 over, 390 heads, mild cam, eddy performer, 600 Holley and Hedman headers mated to a rebuilt C-6. It would pull tree stumps, but it was lucky to get 12 mpg and most of that was on the interstate.
