Some guys feel the Scat stuff being cast overseas is inferior to american made products. But with 7 years track record in FE's by Keith Craft and other such builders they do very well. The cranks do need a slug or two of mallory to balance them. I'm pretty sure they are all zero balance also. The next build I'm planning now wil use a Scat 4.25 crank, oliver rods and a Pond Iron 427 block. I've also heard Scat has a 4.375 FE crank coming out soon. Hmmm....LOL

Hmmm, Interesting indeed! Knew I'd been saving that nice 391 truck block for something. A 4.375 crank is worth the wait.. Thanks for the heads up on the new one, G.
