    100a altenator

I have a 69 390 galaxie 500 that needs a altenator, if I get a 100a external regulator alt will my regulator be able to handle it. Something about 50a at idle capable. Thanks in advance.

I really don't know for sure, but I would say that the reg. would be the same, its reg. volts, and you'll have about the same volts anyway.

yeah, you shouldn't have problems with the regulator at all... the bigger amp altenators are just made so you can add extra accessories and such without putting a huge drain on your system...
just because your car is faster, doesn't mean i cant outdrive you... give me a curvy mountain road and i'll beat you any day
