    Question connecting rods

    eh...
    hi there!
okay, I got some connecting rod issues here...
First of all, my engine seems to have had a rebuild in the early eighties (aside from the obvious tag, stating this, the pistons have a cast-in datecode, mentioning '84)

I now have three different connectingrod numbers: c3ae-c/ c6ae-c/ c7ae-b

The engine ran good before I pulled it apart, so this seems to me as if these rods are just fine for re-use (after checking)

Does anybody have any thoughts or doubts about this issue here?
Is there anything I should check in particular, regarding strength? (any differences between the three?)

I'm not going to build a high revvin' engine, so H-beam seems a little overdone, but probably will make more torque (larger stroke).

This considdering, do I need to get a matching set, or check and/or rebuild these?(keep in mind that the whole rotating assembly will be balanced anyway!)

    thanx,
    tom

Going sideways through a bend isn't considered normal or even sane, so that's the way I like it!
