RP is correct that the TE in the casting numbers does represent a truck application. Plus the governor is a giveaway. C6ME-A block is one of the generic casting numbers Ford used. This means the same casting numbers were used on different bore FE/FT blocks. It has a 68 date code though. 6L18:1 is 68/Nov/18th 1st shift. Probably a 360 or 390. See what numbers are on the crank and rods. Also take off a head and measure the cyl bore. It's pretty straight forward. Let us know what you find and I can ID them for ya. Crank numbers are on the edge of the 3rd counterweight from the front snout. Look for a 2T, 2TA, 2U, 3U or similar. Rods numbers are on the sides. Also post your head numbers. They are between the center two spark plugs. G.
