429 stamped engine number
i found a number on the back side of the block behind the driver side head. I looked around at some decoding sites but they were no help can anyone help me out here is the number OY114765
thanks also the date codes for the engine is
Block: DOVE A 9-L-21
Heads DOVE C 9-L-15
Intake DOVE ...... 9-L-25

Sounds like the body style and vin # of the vehicle it was originally installed into.
