Stuck rings
I have a 1971 429, I've tore it down the rings on 4 pistons came off easy but the other 4 are stuck I've try everything I can think of. Does someone know how to get them off . Thanks

Have you tried to use anything on them? I like to use a concoction of 50% acetone and 50 % auto trans fluid. Either spray it on or pour it over - let it soak in. Use a pick or tiny screwdriver and find an end. Give a twist or pull at it. Be patient so you don't scar the pistons.

putting them in a pan of hot water sometimes helps . watched my pop do this when i was a kid .

Hose them with PB blaster and let them soak..
Education is expensive. Keep that in mind, and you'll never be terribly upset when a project goes awry.
