Have you tried to use anything on them? I like to use a concoction of 50% acetone and 50 % auto trans fluid. Either spray it on or pour it over - let it soak in. Use a pick or tiny screwdriver and find an end. Give a twist or pull at it. Be patient so you don't scar the pistons.
