429/460 M/T Holley Aluminium valve covers available

Not sure if this is true or not, but Holley evidently is rereleasing the old 1972 M/T finned aluminum valve covers again. Evidently they annouced this at Sema this year. Here is the only link I've found so far!

Look very nice, tho I'm never a fan of logo's or manufacturer's on anything that I can avoid on an engine

Normally I'm right there with you Dave, but finding a set of these anywhere usually results in lots of cash, for a used scuffed up cover, most of the time with chips in the aluminium around the gasget edge. So once these are available I think I will snatch up a pair.

I sold a pair at an NSRA swap meet a couple years ago - asked a ridiculous price early the first day and it was one of my first sales. They were nice with no dings though

Wish Ford would bring back the CJ finned valve covers.. talk about expensive. pair doesn't end under $600 on Ebay... I was hoping that I could snatch a pair of the M/T's cheap when I was going to run the 460. Now that I'v decided to switch to a 300 I6, I knew Clifford Performance had a very nice Finned valve cover for them. had being the key word. found out they have been discontinued since 2010... I don't like branded covers ither, but 429/460's just dont have a lot of choices. I figured I was going to settle for a set of early "Power By Ford" valve covers. I'll probably have to do that with the 6 as it is

Holley isnt going to make the 429 Ford M/T covers until they see how the BBC and SBC covers sell

they aren't selling a lot,probably because you can still get a nice used set of M/T's for $50

429 M/T covers run around 100-200 depending on condition,Holley covers a little less.

Cobra Valley makes a badass valve cover for 429 Ford engines

they want $699 for a polished set or $419 unpolished

i charge $150 to polish sand cast valve covers,so i save folks money

Wow posted this 5 years ago and am still struggling to find a pair of polished aluminum finned BBF 460 valve covers. They just don't seem to be around and are randomly sold on Evil Bay for over 300 bucks used in poor condition. Sure wish someone would make a new version!
