    Cobra Jet Heads, 460 Ford

Hey guys, building a 460 for the Ranchero, I want to get a set of Cobra Jet Heads for it. What is the recomended head for Street/Strip use with a tunnel ram?? How would the Alan Root Cobra Jet heads work on this application?? Thanks in advance for the help.

Tech, thanks much for the help. It's just for street, with occasional bracket racing, so I don't think I need the John Kaase heads. Edelbrock does list a head for the Cobra Jet intake, I will do some more research on them. Again, thanks for the help and the links, very much appreciated.

Dave, along with the Network 54 check out http://www.reincarnation-automotive...ns-1-index.html. They both go kinda together and offer lots of info.

No I have'nt but have talked to many who have on Network 54. There is a 385 series Forum there and any question you could ever have on these motors can be answered. The owner of reincarnation regularly monitors the forum and is always available to answer your questions. He knows these motors inside out and is an expert all the many heads on the market.
