    my block #c8ve-f head#c8ve-e 7L15 port head 2 mach cg intake . w/ 750 h . going66 f 4x4 HELP ?????

    1968 head and Block, sounds like you've got a matched set and a darn good set at that.

    this set up is going into a 1966 F250 4X4 with an automatic and 4:56 gears and 35" tires. he wants to do a little bogging and abit of truck pulling too....this is a very kool truck that he runs all summer long .....

    he's looking for some more info to smart'n it up a bit also guess's on HP and other motor set up.

    put a 460 crank ,rods are the same. bore to what ever piston you can afford, it will go bigger easy. I make all of my 460s , into 477, oversize piston, a good cam and a weiand stealth intake with a 750 holley v/s. you might also want to up the compression with a .060 head mill.

    I'm not sure about the numbers but the CJ stuff will have a noticably larger port than the standard 429..Like 3/16 inch or so..
    I remember when hot rods were all home made.

    It is a 429 CJ intake manifold that came from the factory installed on a 460 Marine engine. Add a Holley 850 cfm.
