    I know this is a old post I am replying to but I just ran into the same problem. I have a bad overheating probelm on my 460, I have tried all of the normal things, new radiator, water pump, thermostat, etc. I pulled the heads today and it looks like some of the water passages are covered by the head gasket. Same as you described. Just wondering if you found out a correct head gasket that allowed all of the water passages to be uncovered. Thanks.
