Timing point
Hi!
I am searching now a good timing point for my Ford 460cui. The engine is no longer original. The problem is, with the TP from Ford, the engine is going to be too hot. These are the changed parts:
cam: Adv. Duration: 288°/292° Lift: .522''/.530'' RPM Range: 2500-5500
(Saturday Night Special from Crane cams)
heads: Coumbusion Chamber Volume:75cc
pistons: flat top pistons
intake: Edelbrock performer
carburetor: Holley 700 cfm
copression: ca. 1:10.4
distributor: electronic
I hope someone can help me to find the right point. If you need more informations, tell me.
Awesome, I will put 5 quarts in when the time comes. I've always used Valvoline, what viscosity would be recommended for So.Cal.?, and thanks again
SB distributor won't fit
