can anyone say which 429-460 factory iron intake has the best air flow numbers?

i would guess the CJ and SCJ would be your best choice in the factory market, above is a link to one for sale. just out of curiosity what is swaying you to a factory intake? ive got an offenhouser portosonic on mine. it was rated better then the victor and super victor. and that surprised me too when i read it.

i concur with mooneye ( good name ..my last name is moon ) .. i have the portosonic on my 429 .. works great as it wont rev beyond 5700 rpm anyway .. no need for a high rpm torker or such ... my sig shows as only a link .. are sig pics not allowed ..

Thanks for the response. We are building a tractor for a class requiring all cast iron factory parts so I'm stuck buying expensive parts for an "economy " class.

Iron CJ is the way to go. And if the rules allow you to modify it, then even better.

The iron CJ in the link above is a great deal, for $100. I've seen them sell for twice that.

Please note, these things are heavy and the shipping will kill ya.
