what size pushrod length checker do i need ? looking at one from jegs ..

For a Ford 429/460, something like an 8.500"-9.800" is what you need.

Stock 429/460 pushrod length is 8.55" typical, and you will almost always need that length or longer with roller rockers, particularly with the exhaust.
