    460 rebuild

I am rebuilding a 460. I have removed some of the smog controls on the engine. I now have a huge bracket that the alternator mounts to. My question is . Is there some bracket on the market that could replace this huge bracket? I am trying to clean up the look of the engine. Thanks

The answer to your question is YES! check out summit racing or Jeggs, you will find the aftermarket altenator bracket for a decent price. You can also check on Ebay.

that stock bracket is lighter than any other affordable bracket, trim the bottom half off with your angle grinder
