Noises
I wasnt saying i replace those parts to restore it the truck needed it anyway but how do i check my fuel pressure i just replaced my fuel filter to so maybe i didnt do something right if i take the cat. out and put a strait pipe through will the help any.
Thanks guys i didnt think i would get this much help this fast.

test pipe won't help unless the conv. is stopped up. just take the conv. loose and drive the truck. if the conv. is stopped up you will see a big increase in power. if not put it back on. you don't have to put a test pipe in to check it. you'll need a fuel pressure gauge to check the fuel pressure. i'd check the conv. first.

You can just unbolt the converter ,the 4 bolts on the front,if its a stock one still, it will be REAL loud
Its gunna take longer than u thought and its gunna cost more too(plan ahead!)
