    1969 Verses 1971

     



    THE BOOK THAT I HAVE SHOWS THAT BOTH THE 69 AND 71 429 ARE PRETTY MUCH THE SAME . AM I MISSING SOME THING?? LAST WEEK END I JUST BOUGHT A 79 BRONCO WITH A 71 T BIRD 429 IN IT AND I HAVE BEEN TRYING TO BUILD ANOTHER ONE ON THE SIDE ALREADY ANYWAYS I THINK ILL JUST PUT A CAM IN IT FOR NOW IT SEEMS TO BE QUITE SLUGGISH.     If the 1971 T-Bird motor is a true 1971 429 with D0VE-C heads, then yes, they are pretty much the same.
