These heads are very different from Harley or MoPars. It's the exhaust port that is particularly bad and needs cleanup. Generally speaking, it's so bad that a bowl blend + grinding out all the bumps & boogars in the port makes a big difference. But getting really good numbers out of them requires a much more detailed approach.

More than anything, the intake needs just a bowl blend. The intake's port architecture as cast is pretty darn good.
