    Valve train questions

Wondering is anyone might know what the stock valve to piston clearance is on 460s. I am using a stock crank and rods, new pistons have

Flat top with 2 valve reliefs

    For stock stroke crank

    1.752" compr. distance

    Deck clearance .040

    For press fit rods

    Skirt clearance .0015

Looking for max cam lift I can use safely, anyone happen to know?

    Thanks

    Cool

Depends on the cylinder heads used. The D3VE head combustin chambers are about .100" deeper in the block, and so you'vd have more valve-to-piston clearance...givent he same cam.

Also, it;s hard to recommend a max lift camshaft when we don't know the rest about your build...the valve springs, the rockers, the valve head diameter, etc.
