Hi,

I want to thank everyone for their help in my previous posts. The garage is finally finished and the Mustang and Galaxie are enjoying being inside for the winter. I now have the 429 in my possession, which is also in the garage. I got some information off the engine. On the intake manifold I found the following casting:

3 D0VE 9425 B
F4 2A6 (or G?)

On the head I unfortunately found:

D2VE-AA, meaning, as I have read, the heads are pretty much useless for a performance rebuild.

Is this engine worth rebuilding in the future? If you remember my other posts, the Galaxie has a 390ci engine in it and I am considering putting the 429 in the Galaxie. Is it worth my money to build up the '72 429?
