Well, I'm back now....front end is all steel...sat and looked at it and used Miller Lite to start the engineering flowing....finally got it right and had a welder buddy next door to help me. The 6 cyl. and the 8 cyl. fit in the same area, but the six is longer. So the "horsecollar" frame to hold the radiator and the fender panels is drilled with two positions....one for the six and one for the eight. Same for the frame. So, I had my buddy bend me some 1' square tubing to mount the radiator in the V8 position and I used the 6 position for the panel attachment. Gives me some clearance for the rotation of the front end. Just some pivot brackets for the front end, some Caddy trunk gas struts, and you got it.
