new intakes
Some new intakes for flathead engines. Seems like more and more rodders are going back to the flatties.Keep smiling, it only hurts when you think it does!

Geez, and I'm contemplating DOHC engines and EFI!!! Don't think I'd ever be happy with a flattie again. Performance and reliablilty just isn't there....Yesterday is history, tomorrow is a mystery, Live for Today!

Dave I agree that flatties are old, not that good of breather, but they sure look nice and sound even better. I have had a 52 merc flathead runninig for the last 3 months on a stand for hrs. at a time with no overheating. Lost one radiator hose(burst) but that has been all. Figure with 128 hrs. on the motor it's ready for a car or truck.Keep smiling, it only hurts when you think it does!

I did one "authentic" hot rod with a flattie....I guess everybody should have one once, twice if they don't mind going slow....
PS--The DOHC I'm considering did 475hp/540Tq on the chassis dyno----and also got 24 mpg on a recent road trip while demonstrating a total disregard for the posted legal limit most of the time!!!! All in a sleeper looking bonestock '01 Mustang body..... Very tempting!!!!!Yesterday is history, tomorrow is a mystery, Live for Today!

Yup. It's one of the new Ford SVO 302 cube Modular blocks with the 4.6 DOHC PI heads, and a Kenne-Bell suprercharger and cooler... Very impressive, and very sneaky!!!! Looks totally stock from the outside, and totally awesome when you go for a test ride!!!!Yesterday is history, tomorrow is a mystery, Live for Today!

Well, much as I hate to admit it. That new mod engine with the blower will blow the doors off most of the old stuff I've been around. It's not all just bolt ons, there are some tricks and tuning to get the new ones working right also. Far as that goes, anybody can just buy a flattie, too.....Yesterday is history, tomorrow is a mystery, Live for Today!

I love HP ,the more the better, but I'm like Denny, I just love those old flatties, and early V-8 the ones you could work on without taking apart most of the engine to change plugs.Keep smiling, it only hurts when you think it does!
I do not see any attachments to approve. What is the size of your each file you are attempting to attach? Bill S.
