    Question Creative fundraiser idea feedback

I am trying to come up with a creative fundraiser for my Relay for Life team and thought of a “No Show Car Show” which would involve various antique automobile and street rod owners sending pictures of their automobiles with their name, address, and car information and a small $1 donation to the American Cancer Society included. These photos would then be posted in a public area like a Walmart, AutoZone, or somewhere that draws a lot of people. The public could then vote on the automobile by making a donation in the drop box associated with that specific photo. In return for them submitting their entry, I was considering sending them a window decal that we would create and have not yet determined what to provide for the winner.

Do you think that this would be something that your members would be interested in participating in? I do not want to promote it to our team unless I get some feedback as to whether it might be a feasible fundraiser.

    Thank you for your time.

Janet - I think that's a very cool & creative idea...it's nice to see that there are some people who can think "outside the box"...I'd be interested, and I'm sure there are alot of others here at CHR that would be too...keep us posted...

Thanks Hot Rod Angel for your response. Any ideas as to what might be a good prize for the winner, or how I should handle the winning entries? Still batting that one around a little.

Maybe u could do a couple of Relay for Life/No Show T-shirts with some kind of logo...although i'd send ya the $ & pic even if there wasn't a prize...maybe you could allow hot rod entries to buy a LUMINARIA in rememberance of someone too as an option...
