Hey all you rodders, greasers, hip cats, & dolls, here’s what’s buzzin. The Highway Hellions C.C. host The White Lightning Run. Cast an eyeball on it. Watch the video flyer and see the bootlegger’s agitate the gravel with their souped up bent eights, kustoms, coupes & deuces. The band line up is boss. Notify your day gig that you need some vacation time to roll to The White Lightning Run, a charity event for The Friends of The 179th Airlift Wing.

AUGUST 8TH, 9TH & 10TH 2014 ~ The White Lightning Run presented by the Highway Hellions ~ Zirzabar Farm, 3310 ST RT 603, Lucas OH ~The White Lightning Run is a charity event. Proceeds donated to Friends of The 179th Airlift Wing ~ Friday August 8, 2014,Gates Open @ 12 noon ~ Spectator Weekend Pass $5.00 ~ Setup Free Primitive camp site ~ 12 noon the Down & Dirty Car Show and Bootlegger Run registration opens. Down & Dirty Car Show, Pre 1973 Rides, Entry Fee $10.00 (Includes 2 spectator passes), Registration starts @ 12 noon Friday till 12 noon Saturday , Dash Plaques first 200, Awards , Awards @ 6 PM Saturday ~ Down & Dirty Car Show entrants can also join the Bootlegger Course Cruise's during the weekend, The car show is held is on a grass field, that is not to close to the bootlegging dust. If you want to have some fun and not just park your ride join one of the Bootlegger course cruises and leave your duster at home ~Firday night's Hellion Hoedown with 4 bands~ Bootlegger Run entry fee $20.00 (Limit 50) ~ Includes 2 Spectator Weekend Passes, Dash Plaque ~ Pre 1973 Rides. There will be two classes for the Bootlegger Run in 2014. The traditional solo bootlegger class and a new Double Barrel two person team class. Time will still only allow a total of 50 runs ~ 6:00 PM, Bootlegger Course Cruise for Bootleggers running the Saturday Morning Session ~ Passengers can ride along ~ 6:00 PM, On stage , We will announce the Friday Night band line up once it is finalized ~ 8:00 PM , Hot Rod Movies on the big screen In The Woods ~ Saturday August 9, 2014 ~ Gates open @ 7 AM ~ White Lightning Bootlegger Run - Starts @ 8 AM ~ 12:00 noon Bootlegger Course Cruise for Bootleggers running the Saturday Afternoon session ~ Down & Dirty Car Show Registration continues till 12 noon Saturday ~ Awards @ 6 PM Saturday ~ Saturday night's Bootlegger Bash with 4 bands ~Enter both the Down & Dirty Car Show and The Bootlegger Run and get a event T-Shirt ! ~ ~Sunday August 10, 2014, Wake up, Clean Up, and plan a safe trip home ~ We will update the site a more details get finalized for the 2014 White Lightning Run
