2007 AMBR title goes to who?

I went to the grand national show on Friday, but still don't know what car took the big trophy. My favorite was Steve Barton's huge motored '32.
    Can someone post the results?

Kenny, did you take a car or were you just a spectator?

In your opinion, was there a "Best" car out there?

just went to look at the top 75 32's , but the red nomad we took to sema in 05 was there also.
best car would be hard to pick , but i would say the red 32 that jesse greening brought , highboy , bigblock,it also was at sema .

but i would have taken home the mcgee roadster built in the 50's

America has a new Most Beautiful Roadster, and it belongs to Kevin & Karen Alstott of Fort Dodge, Iowa. Alstott's elegant '35 Ford roadster was announced the winner of the prestigious America's Most Beautiful Roadster award at the 2007 Grand National Roadster Show. The 2006 Ridler Award, which the Alstott's earned at the Detroit Autorama one year ago, was displayed alongside their two-tone show rod, named the 1935 Radster.

The coachbuilt rod was created by Roger Burman at Lakeside Rods & Rides. The body was custom built by Marcel DeLay, and finished with custom PPG paint. The Indy-style suspension components were added to a stretched SAC frame. The engine is a 408-inch Dart block hooked to a Tremec six-speed transmission. The custom interior was created at the Recovery Room.

To me thats a priety car but its a shame it won't be driven. I don't blame them but what ghood is it if all you can do is haul it around shine it and then do it again next week. I don't know what it cost but its got to be more than I'd care to take in traffic.

I sure do miss that show. It used to be just a few miles down the road, put things in it over the years. Darn it!

Yup, shiny paint sure doesn't stop the wheels from running down the highway. I would imagine the car will be DRIVEN to a bunch of shows and get togethers this summer throughout the midwest..... What a way to introduce the car, though!!!! Those AMBR trophies are very, very tough to earn!!!! Don't know if I'd ever be able to put one that nice on the highway, afraid I'd just have to take it from show to show and showroom to showroom. Hot Rodding taken to it's highest level IMO.
