cant get the timing set....
hello, i 'm trying to set my timing on a 89 chevy pick up. i put a 400 small block chevy motor with the tbi (efi) and i have replaced the plugs, coil, wires, cap, distributor and it still won't fire off. im getting gas and the # 1 plug is firing. is the firing order the same for 350 and 400? also does it sound like it has jumped timing. any suggestions. thank youLast edited by 67chevelless; 10-12-2004 at 05:27 PM.
