I need a little engine tuning help
We got my 235 running pretty good with the new cap & rotor and plug wires but there is a bad hesitation. When the car's at compleate idle and when beginning to move the car or just rev it up, it has this hesitation unless you ease into the gas slowly but if you pull the choke out just a little b4 half way, it dosen't have a hesitation. Is it just running rich or is timing off? We set the points to .22, where it's suppose to be. It seems like it's just running rich to me or is this normal for this old engine? Oh, and it starts really good too, around the 3-5th crank with full choke. You don't know what you've got til it's gone
