I want to see if I can get some response to this post, as I see no response, and I've got similar questoins.

I have a Holley four barrel on a 289 Ford and it is also running rich. I would like to work this issue, while also rebuilding it, so does anyone out there have any idea how to help me out.,

Are Holley's that difficult to rebuild and what is the best way to approach cleaning up the carburetor - suggested cleaner?
