Ist make shue your carb is working right, the accelerator rod is tight so that the pump acuates as soon a you move the carb linkage. I had a 250 6 once and found that the linkage had worn just a bit and then you would have a stumble on throttle tip in as the fuel was not getting there soon enough . Make shure you are getting a good squirt also from the accelerator pump .
