I have read that the Weiand tunnel ram is a little more street friendly than an Edelbrock. I ran a Weiand with dual 390 cfm Holleys on a 327 when I built my first street rod, mainly for eye candy purposes. It ran fine on the street but lacked snappy throttle response. When I built another engine for it, I sold the tunnel ram and carbs and built a 350 with a B&M 144 supercharger. Now that engine had throttle response big time.
