    Question Basic cam question

     



    I hear some cams referred to as "RV". What is an RV cam?

    Recreational Vehicle. Generally means a cam that has a little more torque vs high winding ability. On a street rod they work out well because most of the performance we want is in the lower rpm brackets.

    Don! Of course every time I would see those letters that is what went thru my head and I would say "can't be". Now I know.
