A friend is doing up an 1100cc MG and the pistons are bad and have already had an insert fitted to the top edge or top ring or something.
Does anyone know of pistons from a late model Japanese (or anything really) car that will fit. The reason I ask for Japanese is that we dont get U.S. stuff here in New Zealand.

I'm no mechanic or engineer, but if anyone needs more info, i'll ask him.
