I have had good luck with the Proform dist. in street cars that turn less than 6,500 rpm's.
I can't remember the brand name it may have been the imported Procomp stuff but a supplier let me try it.
It was only about $80 street cost.
I gave it to a customer and it is still running today and it has been in the car for over two years.
