so go back to the EPS. I already have a K$N filter with an K$N topper filter, i have accell spiral core 8 mm wires and a 65000 high output coil with a new hei distributor, distributor cap, rotor. is the RPM intake killing my perfomance?

The mismatch between the carb and manifold is what's killing your performance. BTW, if you have access to a good VOM I would be interested in what the resistance/impedance of each plug wire is.Ken Thomas

yeah sounds like your cam probably doesn't match your manifold either.... so the older one would be a better choice.... i'm interested on how those accel wires measure out as well.... i personally run the taylor spiral core wires... i like the boots on them, lot less chance of damaging a wirejust because your car is faster, doesn't mean i cant outdrive you... give me a curvy mountain road and i'll beat you any day
