Time to buy a few tools to have for ever. Just go to your favorite parts store. They have them there. While your there, pick up a timing light, vacuum gauge, and a spark tester, and a starter bumper. Those few things will be with you from now on. They all come with directions, if you don't know the proper way to use them.
And they will save you a lot of hassle over the years.
