    Please don't go there. Increasing distance between throttle plates and plenum creates a "Lag". I am positive you have another issue causing your condition. Possibly Improper fuel pressure, Bad or weak MAP sensor, Could even go as far down the line as a O2 sensor. It's not air distribution at this point it's a problem elsewhere and you will not always see a "check engine" light and can still suffer performance problems. Off idle will not be improved as "My humble opinion" goes.
