    condenser location

    Hey Gang,
Does the condenser have to be mounted as close as possible to the points or can I mount it on the neg side of the coil and ground.
I'm asking because we are working on a old gas tractor and can't find a condenser like the old one that will fit under the cap
    thanks

if its any help most of the oldies used ford ignition parts!, i'm not sure if it'll
work but if the condenser is on the outside it will have to be grounded to the dist base.

I'll mount it outside the distibutor and not on the coil
