The edelbrock I had, if it set very long the fuel bowl would be empty. I had to let the electric pump fill the bowls first.If it's not broke, fix it anyway.

Did you check to see if you have 12 volt to the coil?If it's not broke, fix it anyway.

FE's are notorious bad starters in cold weather. At 30 below with block heaters I've dumped a cupful of gas straight in the carb, then when it starts firing, pedal the gas like crazy until it revs up. I have never seen an FE flooded on a cold day.

I THINK I MAY HAVE FIGURED IT OUT . 3 FULL PUMPS FOR BOTH CARB AND SET BOTH CHOKES FIRES RIGHT UP. ROUGH AT FIRST THEN SMOOTHS OUT AS IT WARMS UP. THANKS GUYS. SCS
