I need some help. I have a Fiberglass hood on my 1969 chevy nova. my question is my mechanic put the wrong springs on the hood so well my hinges broke from the hood. How can i replace the hinges without having to replace the hood all together?it did make a hole in the hood but it didnt go completly through.can my hood be fixed instead of completly replaced? i need help!!!

Remove the springs completely and use a prop rod to hold the hood open when necessary. Fiberglass repair is quite easy to do. I would go to your local book store & buy a book on fiberglass repair....they can also be bought at www.amazonh.com or from www.corvetteforum.com or www.digitalcorvette.com
