    how to put fiberglass scoop on metal hood

     



    i'm putting a harwood outlaw scoop on my 79 Trans Am hood what is best way to bond it to the hood and fix the seams and what to use to bond it with thanks

    in general, sand the hood to clean metal and get some fibreglas resin and just glue the sucker on....fiberglas will adhere to clean metal just fine. For more insurance, you could also rivet it on if you want, and i would tend to do it that way. then you can glas over the joint and sand down like any body work repair.
