It can effect the way the truck runs. But, close it all off you should
be fine.Unfortunately, or fortunately I utterly loathe "emissions".
So, I cannot say that I have had a lot to do with it,or had much
that had it.Could be systems that react badly to removing emiss-
ons equip. I believe I am correct in saying the carb on that has
electronics or electric components,and would be better off w/
the Weber carb, may have to be creative and fab up an adapter
out of old aluminum skillet (fry pan) or the like.Also , believe there
is a simple "brainbox" on those, so if it gets input of carb you'll
need to get past that ,too,maybe.Hope this helped.I know I had
to bypass the brain on a '85 C series I had and put a Holley on it,
truck became trade fodder.
