    olds 307 to 350

I have an 87 olds custom cruiser wagon, with an automatic, and I would like to put in a late 70's 350 in. Is it possible to just bolt up the new engine to the olds automatic transmission? How can I tell?

sorry, but u probably will need a new tranny. im not completley positive but i know that the 350 has a different bolt up pattern than others so you might want to look online or ask a local egine shop thats how i found out that i need a new tranny also. i hope this helps a little.

aandors, if you're going with an Olds 35o it will bolt right up. If you're going with a Chebby, then you're going to have change Transmissions or get an adapter plate for Speedway or some other source.

    350 bolt-up

Hold onto your horses, I have a 88 olds with 700-R4 tranny and I bolted Chevy 350 right up, no adaptors needed.
