so the whole plug wire deal have a 6AL box with6000 limit in it
changed it to see if it where maybe bad no dif. okay i upped my jetts it got better now when i hold it at even rpm and it misses it doesnt sound random sounds steady now the whole wire thing is that the directions said no solid core wires. so i have spiral core wires is this considered solid core should i have carbon core??
is all this causing interference and croos firing??

your wires will be ok, unless you have pulled on one to hard and broke it up on the inside and that will make it miss. its hard to say....... a wire braking down miss is dif. from a carb. flutter miss. and a plug or plug wire that will brake down when not under load should miss all of the time.

Quick way to check your wires is with a timing light. Had the same problem with my engine. Did a check on dist. Turned out OK. put a timing light on and it didn't show any light on two of my plugs. Changed the plugs and still had problem. They would break down at high RPM's. Finally found the wires were shot. Put new ones on and ran great.
Keep smiling, it only hurts when you think it does!
