I Have a 302 motor and i am wanting to put 351c 2v heads on it. I have been that i will have to have the water jackets drilled out so that they will work. I am hopeing to have a mini Boss 302 when i get finished with it. If anyone can steer me in the right direction, it would be very helpful ? Thanks hotrod
Roger, a budy of mine down in SW MO has a cleveland head 302 in his 66 Stang, he refers to it as a Street Boss.
I dont know exactly whats involved...Id say your best bet would be to find a reputable shop who is familier with whats involved.

The diagram and measurements are in the Ford SVT catalog. Your Ford dealer should have the catalog, if not they are available online for $5.00.

Yates Racing used to have a kit for this, this was many moons ago though. You can probably still get info from them too.
You'll have to change your crank and rods as well as the heads and intake. I did this twenty some years ago, but i can't remeber all the details. Back then we were calling it a mexican style boss.
Yates used to sell just the plans for doing this or you can buy the stuff from him and just bolt it on. It's not cheap, but you will have one great running motor.

PS almost forgot pistons will be differant too, because of angle
of the valves.
