Question newbie with an old chevy

Ok, Ill try again, newbie here with 283 questions. I want to rebuild the 283 in my 66 chev pickup, so I can keep the numbers the same, but want more hp out of it, not drag race hp though. Ok so here are my question. Can I put a 327 crank in it, and will that give me more vroom? can I put camel hump heads on If I plan on using an rv cam? if I put a 327 crank, do I use 327, or 283 rods and pistons? do i have to bore the cylinders for this to work? help!!!!
