Had a set of Webers on a 289 in a Mustang many years ago, bought them from Inglese as a package with the manifold, linkage, and the tuning book. It was a great setup, not too bad on the tuning if you have a set of vacuum tubes to sync the carbs with. Once set correctly, they worked great!!! No hesitation, no stumling, just good acceleration and very smooth down the highway. As for the "eye candy" appeal, nothing can beat them short of a set of Hillborn injectors converted to EFI. They are expensive, but hey, what isn't???? BTW, most bike shops have the vacuum tubes I referred to, they use them for synchronising the carbs on multi cylinder, multi carb bikes. Go for it, man.
