fuel pump works pretty well, it is electric and spits out a decent amount of fuel. when I drained the tank I just turned on the fuel pump until there was no more gas coming out. Is this good enough? I havn't had a chance to try the starter fluid. I am also going to disconnect the fuel line from the pump, drain the carb and use fresh fuel to refill the carb, see if that works. what do you think? and yes, fuel squirts out of the carb when you pump it, and i checked for spark, there is spark going to the cylinders. By the way, what do you mean by bleed down? Wont the car still run with a carb full of fuel even if the fuel pump is not on?
