JUsta quick question, anyone have experience with the pertronix billet distributor to replace stock distributor? I have a 283 from a 1966 chevelle, in my 57 jeep. distributor is old, points and the mechanical advance weights have some rust so I want to replace it..I know there are other brands also. Second question is how can I tell what specific type of quadrajet I have. The number is 17056528. I know there are several types 4MV, m4mc, etc.. I would like to know exactly what I am dealing with..thyanks...Paul
